Corvette*, sorry.
Me and my buddies went to Indy for the US Grand Prix this past weekend and we came across a C6 Corvette in downtown Indianapolis. We chased this thing for about 2 blocks in traffic.. guy thought we were nuts!
It looks HOT in person!

Looks small! Which, is a big compliment for a Vette in my book. I love these things. I really think that they have ironed the significant kinks out of the Vette and that we will no longer need to make excuses for it. The performance has always been great, but now the size, quality, and styling of the car have all been significantly improved (or, at least they appear to be greatly improved). I can't wait til these things hit the streets. I definitely anticipate making a Z51 C6 my next car.

You know, looking at those pics, it appears to me that the C6 has an amazingly low cowl, especially for a car with a honkin' 6 liter V8 underhood. I think a low cowl is a goal all designers/engineers should shoot for. It really adds to the driving experience, IMO. Chalk another one up to pushrods. I also think pushrods have been maligned in the automotive press. I mean, OHC aint exactly a new set-up, so what makes OHV inherently "low tech?" The proof is in the pudding, and pushrods are closing the gap in displacement efficiency and have already surpassed (correct me if I'm wrong) in fuel efficiency for a given output. The n/a AMG 5.4 liter motor was only putting out around 355 h.p., while the 5.7 liter LS6 was putting out 405 while getting better fuel economy. Sounds high tech enough for me.
