Race TMS Road Course for $25!

The SCCA is hosting their June 20 "autocross" on Texas Motorspeedway's infield road course. I think it would be a lot of fun to get a bunch of S2000's out there to cover ALL of the eligible classes. Here are the classes that I think we could cover:
AS - Mark L
ASP - Greg E
BS - Gregg L
BSL - Canadice S
SM - Stan T
SM2 - David S
Tire (Street Tire) - Marcus T, Todd M, David T, David G, Kevin D, Al T, Jack K, David H, Paul W, Stefan V, David B, Derrick B, Michael D, Glenn H, Jordan P
Novice - There is a novice class as well if a couple of you newer guys would like to try that out.
Let's see how many trophies we can bring home.
It should be a lot of fun. You MUST pre-register soon as they have a cap on this event. Here's a link to pre-register on DLBracing. Information about the event can be found on the Texas Region SCCA website.

What are the rules on Street Tire? Are you sure my intake & cams (and maybe my header, if it's installed by then) wouldn't bump me out of that? Or is it pretty much open mods as long as I'm not on R-compounds?
I might consider it since the S2K club doesn't have an autocross in June, but it depends on whether or not I get my cam install sorted out.

Novice class??!!?! Ohboyohboy - I get to race again before the next s2K autoX??
I'd be honored to represent!!
Is this an autox like what we did last weekend, or more of a road course? Do I need to be an SCCA member?? What else do I need to know??

This will be run like the autocross that we had last weekend but we will be racing on the road course. There will be cone elements through certain sections to make it moe challenging.
No need to be an SCCA member. Check out their website using the link above. That should tell you about all you need to know including the schedule, format, etc.

This could have been my first SCCA event and run at some other ladies (no really, I'm not competetive 
) I'll be at the Glen in upstate NY that weekend as well for the Rolex Grand Am Cup races... FUN STUFF. Looks like a big racing weekend for everyone
Hope it goes well so they do another one, I'll be there!
