Default Only 39 NSXs sold in US last year?

I thought I saw that Acura only sold 39 NSXs in the US last model year. Can this be right? It looks like most folks that are in the high performance market don't see it as a good buy.

I would not be surprised at that number. NSX sales I think have been on a downward spiral since it first came out.

I've seen maybe 2 or 3 of the current model (1 black and 1 or 2 white ones), which I guess makes me lucky given the sales numbers on this car.

Yeah, that is in the latest Motor Trend (May, 2005). They report on sales of all sports cars.

For $90K it is not a value. I have heard that some dealers are offering about 25% off of MSRP. Even on Porsche they are now offering $10K-$12K. The whole mid-high end sports car market has kind of dwindled a bit, not to mention both these cars are scheduled to be replaced in the next year or two. The NSX should have been priced at $50K-$60K from the get go.
